Malta – Fly over the country with Odyssey
Malta’s Mercury Towers are an architectural masterpiece designed by world-renowned architect Zaha Hadid. Situated in the vibrant city of St. Julian’s, this project offers a unique blend of historic charm and futuristic design. The latest attraction at Mercury Towers is Odyssey, a unique initiative where you literally fly over Malta and its history.
A visit to Odyssey starts with a look at Malta’s rich past. Walk through an interactive exhibition with various projections and learn all about the country’s legendary history.

The main reason why visitors choose Odyssey is the so-called ‘Flying Theatre’. Take a seat in an ultra-modern attraction and fly over Malta and its assets. Or at least it seems that way because in reality you are hanging in front of a 10-metre spherical screen. The 5D flight adventure offers a beautiful view of the island’s unique landscapes, historical landmarks, deep blue sea and impressive cliffs. Combined with special effects such as wind, mist and scents, this flying theatre ride provides a real sensory experience.

The Odyssey adventure continues with the ‘Rooftop Experience’. A member of the staff will take you to the 33rd floor of the Mercury Tower. This is also the highest point in Malta and offers breathtaking views of Malta and the coastline. In the rooftop bar you can enjoy a refreshing drink on warm days. The visit ends in the souvenir shop. You will undoubtedly find a local gift or quality Maltese handicraft here for those back home.

Have you always dreamed of flying like a bird? Then Odyssey is definitely something for you. This new floating attraction is open daily and offers more than 30 performances. More information at www.odysseymalta.com
