USA – New York at your feet

Everyone knows the famous New York skyline, but did you know that new skyscrapers are constantly being added? The Edge and The Vessel are the newest attractions at Hudson Yards. The Edge excels in combining spectacular views with various events. The Vessel is a dynamic mix of boldness and art, even featuring fitness options like the Vessel Run.

The Edge is not only the highest outdoor observation deck in New York, but also in the Western Hemisphere, located on the 100th floor of Hudson Yards. It offers a dazzling 360° view of New York with a glass floor that makes you feel like you’re floating above the city. This makes it a true architectural sensation, but The Edge is more than just the view. It’s also a platform for experiences. There are Sky-High Yoga, Candlelight Concerts, the Rock & Roll Playhouse for families, and other musical series. There’s also the City Climb: a climb along the exterior of the skyscraper. It’s a unique, adrenaline-fueled experience for the brave, where you literally dangle over the edge.

The Vessel, designed by Thomas Heatherwick, is a 16-story sculptural staircase that functions as a climbable artwork. With 154 steps and 80 platforms, you’ll have a unique view of the Hudson River. This structure ensures that The Vessel remains a visual icon.

A striking new activity is the Vessel Run, an intense 45-minute interval training session organized by Equinox. You climb the staircase combined with exercises and get access to explore The Vessel before or afterward. It’s an innovative fitness experience perfect for a workout with breathtaking views.

Hudson Yards is more than just these two attractions. The Shed offers art and performance space, while the surrounding area is saturated with shops, restaurants, green plazas, and a connection to the High Line. Together, they reinforce the feeling of a city within a city.
